Book Fair

Every October, the HSA runs a Book Fair in the school auditorium. There is always a great selection of books, posters, and other goodies including raffle baskets.   A Book Fair Reading Contest gets the students excited, involved, and READING!  Through the contests, the students are entered to win Book Fair certificates. Each class visits the Book Fair during school hours and parents are welcome to join. There are also after school hours for those parents unable to make it during the school day.

Blessed Sacrament receives 25% of all sales. This is a wonderful and easy way for parents and parishioners to give back to the school.

Labors of Love

Every spring, students are asked to do chores at home, or for neighbors and each chore earns them $2.00. The two dollars represents the 2 billion people in the world who live on less than $2.00 a day. The funds raised are donated to the Holy Cross Sisters in Uganda.

Thanksgiving Food Baskets

Blessed Sacrament's Christ CARE Corps coordinates an Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive at Blessed Sacrament School.  Students are asked to bring in specific food items and a $5.00 donation so turkeys and fresh groceries can be purchased.  These donations are distributed to families in our school community, families in our parish social concerns program, and families served by the Spanish Catholic Center.
